Ranks & Jobs

 All Blackcapes will be ranked according to their hitpoints. If you choose you can have a combat or non-combat related job; & your rank will be replaced by your job title. Sometimes I employ spies; they however will have no mention of their name on the site due to the sensitive nature of their work.

Under 500 HP - Warrior

500 - 590 HP - Elite

600 - 690 HP - Knight

700 - 790 HP - Champion

800 - 890 HP - Warlord

900 + HP - Harbinger

(If your HP goes up & i don't notice, just tell me in quickchat)

    The combat-related jobs are:

Archer - People who specialize in ranging the enemy during PK missions.

Assassin - A swift killer (in the old days this was knows as a 3 hitter).

Bodyguard - People specializing in protecting others.

Bounty Hunter - People specializing in hunting those on the KOS list.

Ninja - A stealthy fighter that wears black clothes or armor to PK missions.

Paladin - A warrior-mage that uses a balance of magic & might on PK missions.

Scout - People who specialize in looking at the minimap during PK missions & being alert to inform the pk squad of the enemy position - you could also post a noob at a strategic place in the wild like i do with my scout, Covert Kill; then during missions log into it & check the area while the squad is on approach (If you do, make sure the noob you use is on the roll call to avoid friendly fire).

Squire - People who are willing to partner up with someone stronger to get training & help their partner in battle, either by ranging, maging or attacking pk'ers to give their mentor a chance to eat.

Wizard - People specializing in maging the enemy during PK missions

     The non combat-related jobs are:

Advertiser - People who get other websites to link to us & post messagees spreading the fame of the Blackcapes across the internet using message boards.

Ambassador - People who want to represent the Blackcapes in an allied clan.

Alchemist - People who are willing to use high alchemy on stuff for Blackcape members for no cost except the runes it takes to do it.

Caretaker - People who are willing to max out their citadel recources every week.

Citizen - This option is availiable for people who are non combative by nature, & who don't want one of the "jobs" listed here / cant think of a new one that fits their personality or gaming style; or people who are interested in, but not qualified for a Master Position yet.

Enchanter - People who are willing to enchant jewlery & bolts for Blackcape members for no cost except the runes to do it .

Fisher - People who fish a lot and are willing to sell fish to Blackcape members.

Lumberjack - People who woodcut a lot and are willing to sell logs to Blackcape members.

Merchant - People who trade a lot & are willing to answer questions about current market prices & ways to make money merchanting.

Miner - People who mine a lot & are willing to sell ore to Blackcape members.

Recruiter - People who are willing to actively seek out upstanding, freindly & honest people who are worthy to join the Blackcapes.

Runner - People who are willing to procure items for fellow Blackcapes.

Smither - People who are willing to smith items in exchange for the required ores for Blackcape members

Spy - People who will join an enemy clan & then feed us information about them like where & when they are doing pk missions

      There are also Master Positions avaliable:

Master positions are for people who are high leveled (over 70) and are also willing to give advice about the best ways to train a particular skill. As a rule no one member can hold more than one Master Position at a time. If you feel that you are qualified to give advice about a skill & are also willing, let me know & i will consider you for appointment to a Master Position.

Man at Arms - The clan mele master (expected to attend PK Missions as a Mele Warrior)

Master Bowman - The clan ranged master (expected to attend PK Missions as a Ranger)

Master Cleric - The clan prayer master

Master Wizard - The clan magic master (expected to attend PK Missions as a Mage)

Master Runeforge - The clan runecrafting master

Master Carpenter - The clan construction master

Master Spelunker - The clan dungeoneering master

Master Acrobat - The clan agility master 

Master Apothecary - The clan herblore master

Master Plunderer - The clan thieving master

Master Artisan - The clan crafting master

Master Fletcher - The clan fletching master 

Master of Slaughter - The clan slayimg master

Master Trapper - The clan hunting master

Master Miner - The clan mining master

Master Smither - The clan smithing master

Master Fisherman - The clan fishing master

Master Chef - The clan cooking master

Master Pyro - The clan firemaking master

Master Lumberjack - The clan woodcutting master 

Master Agriculturalist - The clan farming master

Master Summoner - The clan summoning master

Master Merchant - The clan trading master

      People will ask me if they could get promoted to officer status, & so I feel it nessisary to detail what I would like to see from potential hopefuls. If you want to be an officer in the Blackcapes; then you need to display leadership qualities. There are two main ways that ppl will be considered for a promotion: You can attend sanctioned PK Missions & kick butt, or recruit current members / coordinate with an admin to recruit new ones & or allied clan members that will follow you on pk missions & then send me a report (preferrably with pics) for the newspage (anyone who sends in 2 such articles gets Sergeant). Also, if you are recommended for a promotion by others - I will be more likely to consider the request. I want leaders who are friendly, dependable, willing to take the initiative, while still following orders; those who engender loyalty by being willing to share some food or strength potions with their PK squad.

     I have decided to set up an automatic promotion schedule into the military for people who don't participate in sanctioned PK Missions, but get the official site kill count up.
